Rishiraj Singh to inaugurate Literary Workshop

Pratiksha Trust conducted a literary workshop for the benefit of literary aspirants of Mumbai and suburbs in BK S School, Manipur, Vasai. Rishiraj Singh IPS will inaugurate the workshop. V R Sudhish, Sreejith Perunthachan, and Mohan Kakkanadan addressed the audience.

In his address Rishiraj Singh IPS emphasised the need of encouraging children in the study of history and literary sense instead of chasing marks in the examination.

Sudhish talked on ‘Aakhyanavum Jeevithavum’ (Narration and life) while Perunthachan will talk on ‘Kavithayum Jeevithavum’ (Poetry and Life). When earlier writers based their work on their experiences, the modern generation has to depend on his observation of life and write in such a way that his narration should touch the heart of the reader. Sudhish pointed out that anything that failed to touch the heart will not last.

Sreejith Perunthachan in his talk pointed out that poetry is nothing but life. Winners of the literary contest conducted by Pratiksha Trust were felicitated. C P Krishnakumar was the moderator.

Rajendran Kuttoor welcomed the audience and Uttamkumar proposed a vote of thanks
